Thanks to funding from Indiana University Health, the Marion County Public Health Department will be collaborating with two more Farmers Markets in Marion County to distribute Fresh Bucks in 2020!
In order for a market to be eligible to distribute Fresh Bucks, it must first be a USDA Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) approved Farmers Market. We want to see an increase in access and affordability to fruits and vegetables for families who receive SNAP benefits. Our goal is to help guide markets in accepting SNAP at their market and get them set up to distribute Fresh Bucks.
