New Winter Market – Garfield Park

There is a new winter market in town!

The Garfield Park Farmers Market Winter Market debuts Saturday November 20th at Friedens Church on the Southside at 8300 S. Meridian St.

An offshoot of the not-for-profit Garfield Park Farmers Market founded by Ashley Brooks and Julia Woody in 2015, the new winter market will be accepting food and nutrition assistance program SNAP and distributing Fresh Bucks.

The market will run every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. through the end of April 2022.

Fresh Bucks and Produce Rx is made possible with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) Program.  The Marion County Public Health Department, Chronic Disease Department is the central administrator of Fresh Bucks and Produce Rx.
