The Farmer’s Produce Market Opening Day

Celebrate Juneteenth and shop for local fresh vegetables and other healthier food items at The Farmer’s Produce Market located at Lawrence Community Gardens (9240 E. 46th St, Indianapolis 46235). The market will happen this Saturday and every Saturday until the end of September from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.* Support the diversity and inclusiveness of the market and growers selling their produce.

If you receive SNAP benefits, be sure to bring your Hoosier Works/EBT card and you can use it at the market to purchase SNAP eligible items. Fresh Bucks will then match your transaction up to $20 so you can purchase even more fresh local produce. You don’t have to use it all at once either! With the growing season, markets will continue to have more produce and different items to sell each week.

*note that the market will not operate if it is raining

Fresh Bucks and Produce Rx is made possible with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) Program.  The Marion County Public Health Department, Chronic Disease Department is the central administrator of Fresh Bucks and Produce Rx.
